Autism and neurodevelopment
How autistic people perceive and process the world, studied with respect for each person’s experience.
Coreod · Research
We study the human brain alongside researchers from universities and research centres, with care for every participant and rigour in every result.
01 · Research areas
One question runs through our work: how the brain perceives, adapts and changes, and how technology can help measure and support it, without promising more than the evidence allows.
How autistic people perceive and process the world, studied with respect for each person’s experience.
How the brain receives, filters and gets used to what reaches it, and why this differs from one person to another.
What immersive and digital environments can teach us about attention, stress and rest.
02 · Studies
Each study is shown with its real status. We announce what has been decided, never what we hope for.
Our first study opens with a replication: we test whether a published finding on how the brain gets used to repeated sensations holds up. Details will follow once the protocol is registered.
Further studies will appear here once they are approved.
03 · Method
What funders and ethics committees look for first, stated plainly.
Our confirmatory studies are pre-registered: hypotheses and analyses are fixed before data collection begins.
Where a published result exists, we first test whether it holds before putting forward our own.
Participants are known to us only by a study code. Names are never sent to Coreod: they stay with the clinical team that meets them, at the site where the study takes place.
Coreod invites each researcher by name. No open accounts, no passwords: entry is by passkey.
04 · Team
A small team at the heart of the Lab, working alongside the researchers we collaborate with.

05 · Partners and funders
We work with researchers from universities and research centres, and we welcome funders who share our standards.
Partner institutions are named here only with their written agreement.
Write to us. We read every message.
Participants are recruited through our partner centres, not through this page. Please do not send medical information.
